I’m Elaine, a.k.a. Granny Lanny. I am a proud grandmother to one boy and one girl, and I feel truly blessed to draw from a lifetime of experiences to support others on their parenting journey. From being a single mom of three to now embracing the joys of grandparenthood, I have gained a deep understanding of the challenges and triumphs that come with raising a family.
I have worked as a sonographer in a fertility clinic and conducted research in women’s health, fostering a lifelong passion for empowering women. Becoming a doula felt like a natural next step in my journey. It is something I have dreamed of doing since my children were young, but the timing was never quite right- until now. I’m excited to bring my experience, compassion, and dedication to supporting families during such a transformative time in their lives.

As a sonographer in the fertility world for over 30 years becoming a fertility doula is a strong passion of mine. Helping women through this challenging time in their lives is what I do best.
Once your baby is born I will be present to help you through this transformative fourth trimester that is filled with unknowns and love.
Sleep soon becomes a negative word and I am here to ensure that lack of sleep does not ruin your life. From sleep shaping to sleep training we will teach your child how to self soothe. Just like they must be taught to use the potty and to sing the alphabet, we will teach your child what they need to know to have a good night sleep.
