Before embarking on my journey with Birthworker, I was juggling life as a yoga teacher, a mom of four, and running a small business focused on personalized meal and menu planning. I discovered the Birthworker Podcast and dove into birthwork.

I learned about Kyleigh's Childbirth Educator Training, which included membership and access to the Doulapreneur Method at the time. I recognized the value was far beyond the financial investment compared to other programs and decided to leap forward and enroll.

Throughout my journey, I appreciated the professional, ready-made templates for workshops, emails, and slides provided in the program. This allowed me to focus on refining my content and defining my niche in mindset preparation for postpartum care. My first workshop was a testament to the program's impact, where I felt confident and was perceived as a seasoned professional by my audience. The support from the accountability group within the Birthworker Community further bolstered my confidence and honed my presentation skills.

Despite the initial goal of securing ten registrations for my workshop, the turnout of seven participants, including one paid attendee, was a significant win for someone with a modest online following. This initial success laid the groundwork for future growth, including plans for more workshops and the development of virtual support offerings spanning pregnancy to postpartum. My engagement in the program has not only equipped me with valuable business tools but also instilled a sense of confidence and professionalism in my approach to birthwork.

I have aspirations to expand beyond one-on-one in-home care. I envision a future filled with educational workshops, retreats, and contributions to women's wellness at various life stages. Kyleigh's teachings on balancing different aspects of a birthwork business have inspired me to explore diverse avenues, including cyclical living and functional medicine.
